We have a new opening for a Medicaid Billing Specialist. The Medicaid Billing Specialist will review documentation, responsible for serving as liaison and facilitator between the patient, physician, other treatment team members, and (when indicated) reimbursement agents to assure that treatment resources, goals, progress and related matters are effectively utilized and communicated to the patient and others involved in the treatment process, to achieve a length of stay that is appropriate for each patient.

Hours will vary and applicants need to have flexibility with his/her availability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma and two years previous experience in medical records, coding or billing.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be detail oriented and possess superior documentation skills;
• Have an understanding of DMAS regulations as they relate to Psychiatric Residential Services, as well as CMS and Joint Commission regulations.
